2020 Remote Learning

Good morning!  (11.12.2020)

Your blog passwords are being emailed to your parents this morning! Remind them to check their emails and log into the blog ASAP to show me any work that you have been doing. It would be lovely to chat to you all on there by the end of the day! Remind your friends too, let's share the great work we've been doing whilst at home.

We are due back to school next Friday, hurray! (18th December) for our last day together this year,  It will be extra special as we'll be having our Christmas Party in the afternoon as well as an extra treat for being this term's DOJO WINNERS!!! Congratulations, you've worked really hard.

I'll look forward to seeing you all again on Friday 18th December.

I'll be practising my dance moves!

Hello!

(8th December 2020)

It was lovely to speak to you and your parents on the phone this morning. I'm impressed with the effort and engagement with the work I have set you throughout our self-isolation period. Keep it up! Remember to keep your work neat and I will be looking at everything you have done when we are back in school :)

Encourage/remind your friends to keep up to date with the work set too!

If I didn't manage to speak to you today, I will try again later today and/or tomorrow. Tell your parents to keep a look out for an unknown number calling them!

Take care and keep up the great work at home!

Well done.

Miss Thompson xx

Good morning Y6!

(Friday 4th December 2020)

Unfortunately, as I'm sure you are all aware by now, we won't be able to learn and work together for the next few weeks :( I hope you are all ok, remember to take care of yourselves (remain positive & help out your parents - all those lovely advent promises that you made should be transferable to home too!), be kind and keep on being sensible within isolation .

Below are the links that I would like you to use whilst working at home, you should be familiar with them by now. You can try to stick to a similiar lesson timetable we use in school to help you structure your time if needed.

Monday - 5-a-day, Maths, English, Come and See, P.E

Tuesday - 5-a-day, Maths, English, Reading, Science

Wednesday - 5-a-day, Geography, Music, Maths, Art, Come and See

Thursday- 5-a-day, Maths, English, French, Guided Reading

Friday - 5-a-day, Spellings, Maths, English, Come and See, P.E, PSHE

Remember, you can use the white revision booklets we sent home a few weeks ago in between, as well as the usual resources TimesTables Rock Stars/Education City.

Upload work/pictures of work (so i can give feedback!!) onto the school blog and remember to keep in touch regularly via the blog too! I would love to hear/chat to all you daily if possible!

Take care, keep smiling.

Can't wait to see you all again soon.

Miss Thompson xx
