Reading

Throughout the year, we will be encouraging your children to read a wide selection of fiction and non fiction books. 

The children have reading homework set weekly and this consists of completing an activity based on their home readers. It is essential that all children complete at least ONE of the activities from the books each week. Completing these activities will help your children to develop their Vocabulary, Inference, Prediction, Explaining, Retrieval and Sequencing skills.
