Good morning smiley

This week I would like you to complete one Maths, English and Phonics activity each day. Last week I posted lots of handwriting activities so you should also be able to complete those.

There is a live science lesson from Chester Zoo today at 2pm so please join us all in school by tuning in and learning all about the animals. You can find the live lesson by clicking the link below.

Live Lesson

I hope you have a wonderful week and if you have any questions please post on our school blog, email me or phone the school office during school hours.

Take care and keep smiling

Miss Wagner

This week we will be continuing our topic on Numbers to 20. For each lesson I have added some slides which we will be using in school and then you can complete the worksheets attached.

We have already completed work on comparing numbers to 10 so try to remember all the skills we have learned - counting forwards, jumping using a number line and using cubes/blocks to count.

If you have any questions about this work please contact me via the school office.

This week you should continue your work on the Oaks Academy. Follow the sequence from the Magic Paintbrush story and by the end of the week you will be able to write your own story.

Remember to use capital letters and full stops and sound any new words out using your phonics.

If you have any questions please send me an email and I can help you with the activities.

This week we will be learning the ee, igh and ow sounds. Click on the links below to watch videos for these sounds. Once you have watched each video have a go at writing some words containing the sounds and use them in a sentence. Remember to underline your special friends because they are always together.

I.e. I can see the ball.

In school we are currently learning all about animals including humans.

We have thought about healthy foods, healthy activities and we have also learned about the types of animals in the world - mammals, birds, amphibians, reptiles and fish. Today there will be a live lesson from Chester Zoo all about animals so please join in and watch the video with us at 2pm.

Here is a booklet which you can use to help you with your learning.
