Mission Statement

St Teresa's Primary School has been serving the local community since September 1898 and continues to welcome new families from near and far who are choosing St Teresa's for the education of their children.

Our ethos and values remain based on those of the Gospel and we also draw inspiration from the words of our patron, St Teresa of Avila.

Our new Mission Statement underpins everything we do and reflects the increasingly diverse nature of our school community.

St Teresa's is...

" A welcoming family of God ,growing and achieving together ,with Jesus at our side"

I am the vine and you are the branches

                                                     John 15:5

St Teresa’s School Prayer

God our Father.

Thanks for the many gifts you have given us:

Our families, our skills, our talents and each other.

Thank you for today and the planet we share.

Please help us when we have problems or fears.

Help us to respect every member of our school community.

Help us work together and to do our best every day.

Bless our school and help us light up the world with love.

The children are learning responses to the school prayer:

Thank you for today...

And the planet we share

Help us to work together...

And do our best every day

Bless our school...

And help us to light up the world with love
