Welcome to Year 1!

MEET THE TEAM 

Year 1 staff - Mrs Thompson, Mrs Kubiak & Mrs Atherton

Cricket = Tuesday         PE Day = Thursday 

Please ensure that your child has the full PE kit in school throughout the week incase of changes to timetables. Children can wear Navy Blue jackets and joggers during the winter months. 

 

New reading books and homework will be given out on a Friday

Please remember to complete tasks on 1 minute maths as well as doing your child's reading task each week.

Thank you to all the parents and grandparents who attended our phonics meeting today or those that have taken time to come and speak to me regarding your child's reading. I have packs available in class for all children to take home and I have uploaded set 2 and 3 phonics videos to help. If you were unable to attend the phonics meeting please contact school to arrange a quick chat to go through what was discussed.
